Moving passenger bus burst into flames in College street | Watch video
A government bus in Kolkata on Saturday afternoon suddenly catches fire in the College Street area. As per reports, the bus was moving on Surya Sen street. Suddenly, smoke was noticed by the bus driver and the bus was immediately evacuated.
In a matter of minutes, the bus turned into a raging ball of flame emitting think smoke that filled up the entire area. The fire department was alerted and three fire tenders were rushed to the spot. After a brief amount of time, the firefighters managed to douse the flames.
Fortunately, no one suffered any injuries. However, the onlookers were filled with panic. Investigations are now underway to ascertain the cause of the fire.
